EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE :
High School Diploma or Equivalent
Six years clerical or administrative experience
High School Diplomas and college/university degrees must be obtained from an accredited program or university approved by the United States Department of Education and the Texas Education Agency.
PRIMARY PURPOSE SUMMARY :
Provides administrative support to the Executive Director of Procurement and eCommerce and administrative staff of the offices of Procurement and eCommerce, Distribution Center, and Document Management and Print Services. Performs a high level of technical and office administrative functions.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Provides comprehensive, complex administrative support to the Executive Director of Procurement & eCommerce and administrative staff of the offices of Procurement and eCommerce, Distribution Center, and Document Management and Print Services.
2. Manages Procurement and eCommerce Department office support functions; prioritizes and coordinates work assignments.
3. Performs difficult, complex, technical and/or specialized office support work, which requires the exercise of independent judgment, the application of technical skills and a detailed knowledge of the activities and procedures specific to the Procurement and eCommerce Department.
4. Attends to a variety of administrative details such as keeping informed of Department/division activities, transmitting information, developing, implementing and interpreting policies and procedures and monitoring day to day operations of the functional areas which assigned.
5. Responsible for scanning multiple document types into the District’s electronic document
management system.
6. Enters and receives department requisitions on the District’s finance system.
7. Compiles and submits department procurement information for TASBO purchasing award.
8. Performs project research and reports preparation related to the activities of the Procurement Department.
9. Assists other Finance Offices with research, reports and presentations.
10. Maintains confidentiality of information.
11. Reports to work on time every day.
12. Performs additional duties and accepts other responsibilities as may be assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:
• Knowledge and ability to effectively and efficiently utilize various software programs to include Windows (Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, Publisher), web based applications and mainframe transactions

- Ability to prioritize work and handle deadlines in a timely manner
- Valid Texas Drivers License with driving record that meets the requirements of the District
