As a Behavior Technician, you will play a crucial role in supporting individuals with disabilities by implementing behavior intervention plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs). Responsibilities
- - Implement behavior intervention plans under the supervision of a BCBA
- - Work directly with individuals with disabilities to provide one-on-one behavior therapy
- - Collect and record data on individual progress and behaviors
- - Maintain confidentiality, HIPAA regulations, and HCBS Settings Rule
- - Support individuals in skill development based on applied behavior analysis principles
Requirements
- - Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred
- - Knowledge of applied behavior analysis principles is a plus
- - Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment
- - Excellent communication skills for collaborating with colleagues and families
- - Patience, empathy, and a genuine interest in helping individuals with behavioral challenges
