What are the responsibilities and job description for the Residential Manager for Individuals with Disabilities position at North Eastern Services?
We are looking for someone to care for individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in a professional and compassionate manner. In this position, you'll build relationships, improve the quality of life of and serve intellectually disabled individuals who just need a little friendship and care. An ideal candidate for this position will be able to follow schedules and treatment plans, reliability and provide excellent care, display excellent communication skills and positive attitudes. Prior experience as a Residential Manager is required for this position.
Caregiver Requirements:
- Must be 21 years or older
- Be able to pass a full criminal background check and drug screening.
- Must have a valid Utah driver's license and social security for background.
Responsibilities:
- Plan daily activities to do with clients
- Maintain safety and the happiness of the clients
- Setting schedules for employees and medical appointments for clients
- Teach activities of daily living to improve their knowledge, skills, and abilities
- Planning menus that follow dietary guidelines
- Daily documentation/Medication administration
- Assisting with the medical needs
- Encourage clients to have a clean environment and healthy lifestyle.
Qualifications:
- Managerial experience required
- Strong leadership qualities
- Ability to provide physical care
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Able to work swing shift, holidays and weekends.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
