Responsibilities for Nurse Staff Scheduler/HR
The Nurse Staff Scheduler/HR Employee is responsible for the scheduling of our nursing staff (CNAs 8-hr shifts and Nurses 12-hr shifts), as well as managing employee relations in a human resources capacity. HR also includes a payroll component which we can train you for.
- Managing employee relations
- Processing payroll on a biweekly basis
- Managing call-outs, schedule changes and filling shifts on a timely basis
- Assisting with onboarding new staff
Requirements for Nurse Staff Scheduler/HR
- COVID Vaccination & Booster Required
- Scheduling experience within a healthcare setting is a must; familiarity with scheduling nurses/CNAs in a SNF setting is a plus.
- Software proficiency such as Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, staff and other leadership team
- Preferrably have knowledge of billing and collection practices/techniques.
- Superior organization skills and attention to detail.
- Prior experience in Human Resources within a nursing center or healthcare setting preferred.
- Payroll experience is a plus.
- Ability to build strong relationships and gain support from staff.
