As an Automotive Sales Consultant, you sell and lease new and used vehicles at our location. You are eager and driven but most of all you are ethical and honest. You love meeting new people and making personal connections easily. With your friendly and helpful demeanor, you greet customers who enter the dealership showroom or lot. You fully explain the features and benefits of each vehicle, as well as financing and leasing alternatives. You are a good listener and problem solver who asks the right questions and finds solutions to customers' needs.
You are consistent about following up with your clients and keep up your vehicle and automobile industry knowledge. You love seeing your hard work pay off in your paycheck and enjoy the good-natured competition between team members at our dealership.
We have a schedule of 40 hours per week, which is less than most other dealerships. You'll work just five days per week, with every Sunday off, plus the same weekday off. You'll work most Saturdays because that is our busiest day.
Income is reliable and combines hourly compensation with a competitive bonus structure. Income for salespeople ranges from $52,000-$120,000 (or more) per year and we keep a smaller sales team so there's plenty of opportunity for everyone.
Our team members look at their roles as their career and we almost universally promote from within. Our current sales team mostly consist of people that have been with North End for 6-20 years.

Responsibilities:
- Fantastic communication skills with your customers.
- Sells automobiles by understanding and demonstrating characteristics, capabilities, and features; developing and qualifying buyers; closing sales.
- Create and maintain excellent relationships with our customers
- Maintain strong knowledge base of all new vehicle makes and models
- Maintaining a positive, can-do attitude
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to adapt to changing work conditions
- Determine each customer’s vehicle needs and wants by asking questions and listening.
- Demonstrate vehicles (includes test drives).
- Strong interpersonal and communications, in-person and over the phone
- Persuasive and able to overcome customer objections during the sales process
- Proficient in basic business math including percentages
- Persistent, competitive, and good work ethic
- Greet our customers and make them feel at ease by providing the best car- buying experience
- Determine customers’ needs and wants and guide them through their options, showcasing your in-depth industry and vehicle knowledge
- Follow up with existing customers to confirm their satisfaction and generate more leads
- Good organizational skills and ability to manage multiple priorities
- Comfort with social media to advertise and market offers
