North FC is seeking a dedicated and organized Program Director to oversee the implementation and execution of our club’s soccer programs. Tis leadership role will be responsible for ensuring that the club’s philosophy, culture and development plans are consistently applied across all teams. The Program Director will work closely with the Director of Coaching to ensure alignment in training, methodology, and player progression throughout the club. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in soccer player development, strong leadership skills, and a commitment to fostering a positive, high-performance environment.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Financial Responsibilities:
- Work with Club Director and Director of Coaching to set annual budgets and calendars
- Work with Admin, Director of Coaching, and Club Director to allocate financial aid to membership
- Work with Admin, Director of Coaching, and Club Director to ensure rosters are set in a timely and accurate manner for billing
- Assist Admin and Club Directors to help collect past due player accounts when delinquent
- Attend all Club Sales Org Meetings planned for the year
- Ensure membership enrollment meets the Organization’s Sales Goals for financially viable roster sizes (set each quarter)
Staff Responsibilities:
- Work with Club Director and Director of Coaching to set annual staff budgets and assignments
- Work with Director of Coaching to assign staff on a seasonal, monthly, weekly, and daily schedule
- Work with DOC and Admin to schedule additional programing
- Continue to foster relationships with community programs when applicable
- Meet with your Program’s support staff to set weekly, monthly, seasonal, and annual goals that are in line with the club’s expectations and goals
- Oversee all Program Coaching Staff on a daily basis and ensure staff is effective and executing on Director of Coaching’s plan
- Attend weekly Program meetings with Director of Coaching to understand expectations, provide updates, listen for feedback, and support accordingly
- Attend quarterly General Staff meetings to understand expectations, provide updates, listen for feedback, and support accordingly
Advertising and Marketing Responsibilities:
- Work with all staff and team managers to ensure team updates are emailed into Club Director and Club Admin - Marketing Team for social media postings
Scheduling:
- Work with Club Director, Director of Coaching, and Admin to set annual calendar of events to ensure applications are made in a timely manner
- Work with Club Director and Director of Coaching to set goals for seasonal league play and scheduling
- Manage Staff and Team Managers to execute on the scheduling of seasonal league games for all teams
- Report schedule updates into Club Director for updates to the master schedule
- Ensure that all weekly coaching assignments are confirmed and posted on the master coaches sheet by Wednesday of each week
Player Responsibilities:
- Set annual plan for player development (training, leagues, events, etc.) and provide information by set deadlines
- Provide each player with Individual Development Plans for the 3 Seasons: Fall/Winter/Spring
- Attend at least 25% of games (each season) for each team within your program to assess staff, team, and player environment is meeting set expectations
- Inform Admin of additions or subtractions of players within your pool through the course of the year
- Work with Club Director, Director of Coaching, and Affiliate Club Director of Coaching on sharing of players between our clubs
- Identify and procure prospective outside players following the Club Sales Org Plans
Parent Responsibilities:
- Provide parents with clear plans for the annual and seasonal plans in a timely manner
- Meet with all parents at least three times throughout the year to set expectations, goals, and club philosophies before each of the 3 seasons: Fall/Winter/Spring
- Ensure all rosters and game day information is provided to parents in a clear and timely manner as to support their individual family needs for schedule planning
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Experience developing soccer programming for youth
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated experience with detail-oriented tasks and structures
- Ability to creatively solve problems
- Self-starter with the ability to take initiative
Education, Experience, Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years coaching experience at the competitive youth level or higher
- Experience working with players across a variety of age groups, genders and skill levels
- Understanding of the US Soccer playing platforms, levels of play, elite programs and college pathway
Travel Requirements:
- Required to travel to each of North FC’s three pods a minimum of two times per month to ensure program consistency and support coaching staff
- Attend league and tournament games as determined by the Director of Coaching
