What are the responsibilities and job description for the Ophthalmic Technician position at North Florida Cataract Specialists and Vision Care?
We are seeking an experienced ophthalmic technician who enjoys what they do and is passionate in helping patients to join our clinical staff. Certification is a plus. Full-time, immediate opening. Competitive pay and compensation package
Duties:
Accurate and efficient patient workups, accurate performance of refractions, lensometry, applanation tonometry, pupil exams, visual field testing, fundus photography and any other testing that our physicians may require.
Requirements:
- Good understanding of ophthalmic practice and patient care
- Good communication skills; verbal and written
- Dependable and adaptable
- Professional, efficient and organized
- Team player and willing to help in all areas
Preferences:
- Ophthalmic technician experience (at least 1 year preferred)
