Be a part of a practice where we make children's lives better! Busy, pediatric surgical specialty single physician practice seeks a friendly, motivated, and reliable Medical Receptionist - 32-36 hours per week on average. This position would have Fridays off as well!
A benefits package is available after 90 days. MEDICAL OFFICE EXPERIENCE IS A PLUS. ALSO, DUE TO THE HEALTH ISSUES OF MANY OF OUR PATIENTS, WE ARE A TOBACCO AND PERFUME SCENT-FREE OFFICE.
The prospective candidate needs to have computer and telephone skills as data entry and patient family interaction are major priorities in the job responsibilities.
Requirements
The position’s responsibilities include receptionist duties, such as answering phones and patient telephone triage, rooming patients, obtaining insurance verification/referrals for office visits, authorization for procedures, check-in/check-out tasks, and patient demographics/correspondence maintenance. Experience with athenaOne is a plus.
Finally, the applicant who we choose must possess a great attitude and strong interpersonal skills, enjoy working as a member of a team, be detail-oriented, be an adaptable learner, and have excellent time-management/multi-tasking skills.
