We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pediatric Medical Assistant Bilingual Preferred join our healthcare team . As a Medical Assistant with you will play a crucial role in providing quality patient care and assisting healthcare professionals in various clinical and administrative tasks. Bilingual Preferred

Responsibilities :

  • Perform vital signs assessments, including measuring blood pressure, pulse rate, temperature, and respiratory rate
  • Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures
  • Administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals
  • Prepare patients for diagnostic tests and procedures, such as X-rays
  • Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, maintaining patient records, and managing insurance documentation
  • Ensure accurate coding of medical procedures and diagnoses for billing purposes
  • Assist with patient service duties, such as answering phone calls, responding to patient inquiries, and providing general information
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of examination rooms and medical equipment
  • Collaborate with other healthcare team members to ensure efficient and coordinated patient care

Skills :

  • Proficient in conducting vital signs assessments and documenting patient information accurately
  • Knowledge of medical coding procedures and ability to ensure accurate coding for billing purposes
  • Strong understanding of medical administrative processes and ability to perform various administrative tasks effectively
  • Familiarity with anatomy and physiology to assist healthcare providers during examinations and procedures
  • Excellent interpersonal skills to provide compassionate patient care and communicate effectively with patients, families, and colleagues
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong organizational skills to maintain accurate patient records and manage administrative tasks efficiently
  • Qualifications :

  • Completion of a Medical Assistant program or relevant certification is preferred
  • Previous experience working as a Medical Assistant is an asset
  • Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems is desirable
