Job Summary
You will lead the team members in project development and ensure all jobs are done correctly and punctually, report any problem on-site to their immediate supervisor for resolution, and prepare any needed technical documents for the approval of a superior or senior engineer. An ideal candidate will apply technical knowledge to challenging Transportation projects.
Duties/Responsibilities
- Lead transportation design calculations/reports/plan preparation/roadway modeling;
- Assist office leadership in the preparation of proposal documents and preliminary project evaluations;
- Develop peer network with staff at other firms and public agencies to enhance personal and firm relationships during project coordination efforts;
- Coordinate project tasks and report to project manager and supervisory staff to assist in budget, schedule, and project status tracking;
- Complete alternatives analyses; scopes and executes feasibility activities;
- Perform design, permitting, and specifications for moderate and large-scale projects;
- Work closely with the project manager on deliverables and client interaction;
- Review plans, specifications, and reports prepared by other Junior Engineers;
- Manage client interactions and communications; and
- Ensure all project-related reports are completed and submitted promptly.
Education and Experience
- A bachelor’s degree in engineering (Civil preferred); and
- Eight (8) to ten (10) years of Engineering experience.
Required Licenses
- Professional Engineer certification, registered in Florida, or ability to become registered within six (6) months; and
- Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record.

Salary : $80,000 - $118,000
