Position Title : Bartender
Shifts Available :
- Note that this is a non-tipped position.
- Citrus Bar : FT Bartender(11a-7 : 30p) 35-40hrs per week
Overview : The bartender provides service including mixing of drinks, serving food and beverage. The bartender is responsible for set up and clean up of the bar area. This position reports to Dining Services Director or Dining Supervisor.
Essential Job Responsibilities :
Ensures the dining experience is enjoyable through cheerful behavior and carefully following established procedures for merchandising, plate presentation and serviceAbility to communicate with residents and guests to take drink orders and provide service during their mealAccurately mix ingredients to prepare cocktails and other drinksPour beer and wineCheck identification of residents and guests to ensure they meet the age requirement to purchase alcoholComply with all state of Florida liquor laws and trainingsAble to determine when a customer has had too much alcoholOrder and maintain liquor and bar suppliesClean up of bar and other areasMust be personable and maintain a positive pleasant demeanor at all timesAble to promptly and accurately report any resident problems, inquiries, requests and / or concerns to the supervisorAble to accurately setup work station with all necessary items prior to the start of serviceAbility to accurately prioritize workKeep all equipment clean and sanitizedCommunicate with manager about any out of stock itemsMake menu changes only with the consent of the manager or supervisorHandle glasses, food / equipment efficiently and effectivelyReport any faulty equipment in need of repairAnswer phone and take messages for take out ordersSubstitute for any server position for dining venues when neededFunction with minimal supervisionSet up and break down of dining roomMaintain clean and professional appearanceAdheres to company policies and proceduresAttend departmental education and all required in-service training / educationMaintain confidentiality of resident / family and facility informationRespond to all fire alarms and assist in the evacuation of residents when neededRepresent the organization through professional demeanor and attitudeProvide quality customer service in all interactions with residents, guests and staffPerform other duties as requiredYou Have :
1-2 years of Bartending experienceMust be 18 years of age or olderHigh School diploma or equivalent preferred, may be working towards high school diploma or equivalentAbility to understand and follow both written and verbal instructionWe Have :
