Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Foot and Ankle Orthopedic Surgeon to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to work in a collaborative, patient-centered environment with a diverse team of specialists.

Our team provides care for patients at multiple locations including Destin, Ft. Walton Beach, Crestview and Niceville.
Responsibilities:
- Evaluation and Treatment: Provide comprehensive evaluation, diagnosis, and treatment for a variety of foot and ankle conditions, including fractures, deformities, arthritis, tendinitis, and sports-related injuries.
- Surgery: Perform both elective and trauma-related surgeries, including arthroscopic procedures, joint replacements, tendon repairs, and corrective surgeries for deformities.
- Treatment Planning: Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with patients, discussing options ranging from conservative management to surgical interventions.
- Postoperative Care: Manage postoperative care, including follow-up visits, wound care, and rehabilitation guidance.
- Patient Communication: Provide excellent communication with patients, families, and medical staff, ensuring patient education and clear understanding of treatment plans.
- Multidisciplinary Approach: Work collaboratively with physical therapists, pain management specialists, and other healthcare providers to ensure a multidisciplinary approach to patient care.
- Professional Development: Participate in continuing education and professional development to stay current with the latest advancements in foot and ankle orthopedics.
- Practice Growth: Contribute to the development and growth of the orthopedic practice by actively engaging in marketing, patient outreach, and maintaining a high standard of care.
- Education and Supervision: Supervise and mentor medical students, residents, or fellows, if applicable.
- On-Call Rotation: Participate in on-call rotation for trauma and emergency care as needed.
Qualifications:
- Credentials: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery with a subspecialty focus on Foot and Ankle Surgery.
- Training: Completion of an accredited orthopedic residency program and a fellowship in foot and ankle surgery (preferred).
- Licensure and Certification: Valid, unrestricted medical license in Florida.
- Clinical Skills: Strong clinical and surgical skills with a focus on patient-centered care.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, interpersonal, and team collaboration skills.
- Commitment to Quality: Commitment to providing high-quality care, with an emphasis on patient education and long-term outcomes.
- Caseload Management: Ability to manage a diverse and varied caseload, including complex foot and ankle conditions.Experience with electronic medical record (EMR) systems preferred.
