What are the responsibilities and job description for the Marina Dockhand position at North Georgia Watersports?
***Duties***
- Close attention to detail checking boats in and out with proper rental documentation
- Ensure all boats are clean and ready for rental prior to customer arrivals
- Assist customers with docking and undocking their boats
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a positive experience for all customers
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the marina dock area
- Assist with fueling and pumping out boats as needed
- Help customers with loading and unloading their personal belongings onto the boats
- Perform routine maintenance tasks on boats, such as cleaning and checking fluid levels
***Experience***
- Previous experience working in a marina or boating environment is preferred
- Mechanical knowledge and ability to troubleshoot minor issues with boats
- Familiarity with rigging and securing boats to docks
- Strong communication skills and ability to work well with a team
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
