What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rental Manager position at North Georgia Watersports?
Responsibilities:
- Applicant must be able to operate a boat. Must be well versed on boating laws, regulations and safety.
- Manage the rental department and oversee all rental operations
- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve rental revenue goals
- Train and develop rental staff on sales techniques and customer service
- Ensure that all staff are trained on all aspects of boating. Explanation of operation, Demonstration of all systems. checking boats in and out of rental slots. Setting up repairs as needed with the service dept.
- Monitor and analyze rental metrics to identify areas for improvement
- Provide sales management support, including setting sales targets and monitoring performance
- Ensure accurate and timely completion of rental contracts and documentation
- Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and disputes in a professional manner
- Conduct employee orientation and provide ongoing training and development opportunities
- Follow up with customers to ensure a great experience and return customers. Help increase google reviews
Skills:
- Strong sales skills with a proven track record of achieving targets
- Excellent training development abilities to enhance the skills of the rental team
- Sales management experience to effectively lead a team towards success
- Proficiency in math for calculating rental fees, discounts, and commissions
- Assistant manager experience to support the overall operations of the rental department
- Leadership qualities to motivate and inspire the rental team
- Exceptional phone etiquette for handling customer inquiries and reservations
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities effectively
- Strong negotiation skills to secure favorable rental agreements
