Qualifications And Skills
- Pursuing a Bachelor’s degree or the equivalent with skills in computer use
- Desire to provide outstanding service to the campus, visiting staff and camp participants
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to discern when and from whom to seek guidance
- Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with superiors, associates and the campus staff, visiting staff and camp participants
- Support NGU’s mission statement and core values, commitment to a Christian lifestyle and character in keeping with biblical model
- Affirm an understanding of the Baptist Faith and Message 2000.
- Affirm an understanding of the University’s “Statement on Human Flourishing”.
- Agree to abide by the Employee Handbooks, including Community Standards Agreements.
- Assist as necessary with camp check in and check out.
- On Call at night to assist participates as needed.
- Supervise Rec Areas during free time periods: Hayes Gym, Outdoor Rec Area, Game Room.
- Sweep gym floor at the end of the night.
- Supervise Rec Shed
- Supervise Game room
- Check water stations throughout the day. Clean Water stations at the scheduled time
- Check halls for trash bags and replaced as needed. TP though Rec Shed.
- Other duties may be assigned as necessary to support the NGU operation of camp.
- Camp Support Staff receive $10 per hour (29 hours per week) and Room and Board
- Camp Support Staff reports to the Office of Tigerville Operations

- Move Furniture for projects assigned to Tigerville Operations.
- Assist Maintenance with projects when requested.
- Help in campus projects assigned to Tigerville Operations and other department.
- Place cots (Mon pm) and pick-up (Mon am) if needed
- Put water stations in place and begin operations for the day.
- Must be able to carry furniture and load furniture on a truck. 40lbs
- Campus Support Staff receive $10 per hour and Room and Board. Schedule varies with duties assigned. Maximum of 29 hours per week.
- May workers will normally work 5 days a week -8:30am- 12:00pm. Additional Hours may be scheduled if necessary. The maximum scheduled hours for any week is 29.
