Position Overview:
North Grounds Property Maintenance is excited to announce that we are now accepting applications for the 2024/2025 winter season for our Snow Removal Technician crew! As a member of this team, you'll have the chance to work outdoors and make a real difference in keeping our community safe and accessible during the snowy months across multiple job sites in the valley. We’re seeking motivated individuals like you to join us as Snow Removal Technicians. In this role, you’ll be on the front lines of maintaining clear and safe outdoor spaces for our valued clients. From plowing to shoveling, your efforts will ensure that properties remain accessible and welcoming. Safe equipment operation is essential, as you'll be responsible for not just removing snow, but also ensuring that our clients' landscapes are safe and navigable throughout the winter season. Job Duties:

  • Snow Shoveling: Manually shovel snow from sidewalks, driveways, and walkways to ensure safe access for pedestrians and vehicles.
  • Ice Management: Apply ice melt or sand as needed to prevent slipping hazards on cleared surfaces.
  • Equipment Operation: Safely operate small snow removal equipment (e.g., snow blowers, shovels, and snow raiders) and ensure all tools are maintained in good working condition.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain logs of completed work, including time spent on each site and any special instructions or issues encountered.
  • Team Collaboration: Work effectively as part of a team to coordinate snow removal efforts and ensure timely completion of tasks.

Basic Qualifications (Preferred):

  • Experience in snow removal is a plus.
  • Knowledge of equipment operation is beneficial.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality.
  • Flexibility to work over 10 hours during peak snow events.
  • Valid US Driver's License with a clean record.
  • Ability to lift up to 50lbs on a regular basis.
  • Must be able to stand, walk, and work in weather elements for up to 10 hours per day.
  • Physical commitment required for snow removal.
  • Authorization to work in the United States.

Work Schedule:

  • Morning shift runs from 3am-11am, weather dependent
  • Afternoon shift runs from 1pm-6pm , weather dependent.
