Risser’s Poultry is seeking a values-aligned Finance & Accounting Manager / Controller to both perform and provide oversight to core financial and accounting processes, and work collaboratively with company leaders to advance the continued growth and success of the organization. This position will provide leadership to the accounting team and develop team members to their highest potential. The Finance & Accounting Manager / Controller will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of company financials and providing financial analysis and insights to drive operational efficiencies. The ability to provide accurate reporting and analysis to allow for timely decision-making is a critical component of the position. The ability to utilize financial information to leverage strengths across all business entities, including KPI data collection and reporting, costing, budgeting, forecasting, and monitoring the financial health of the organization, is essential to the role. A successful Finance & Accounting Manager / Controller will build relationships externally and internally across departments, supporting and serving others, while furthering our team environment.
Finance & Accounting Manager / Controller position qualifications include :
Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field, or equivalent experience
Minimum of 5 years of proven success in an accounting / finance role
Demonstrated track record of leading a team and developing people, essential
Proficiency with technology – specifically Excel and accounting software, required; experience with ERP software, a plus
Excellent verbal & written communication skills
Customer service skills with a focus on serving others
