What are the responsibilities and job description for the SERVER position at North Hills Country Club?
North Hills Country Club is currently seeking Servers to join our seasonal team.
Servers are responsible for the set-up, execution, and breakdown of all events as well as regular dining service. We are looking for passionate mature people that are team driven, , detail oriented, and learn quickly. Hours of operation require availability nights, weekends, and holidays. • Set-up buffets per standards and replenish as necessary.
• Serve plated meals to members and their guests following proper procedures.
• Open wine, take drink orders, serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages. (servers only)
• Clear dirty dishes from tables.
• Communicate effectively with Events Manager, Management, and fellow coworkers.
• Must be a team player and demonstrate organizational skills.
• Must have excellent interpersonal skills and confidence.
• Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time.
• Physical labor includes moving chairs, setting up tables, placing linens, and rearranging patio furniture.
• Excellent verbal and telephone skills to be able to communicate clearly and effectively with our members.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• No previous experience is necessary; we will train the right person for the position.
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and two years related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
