At North Homes Children & Family Services, we are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Certified Peer Specialist to join our team and provide essential peer support within our Certified Community Behavioral Health Clinic (CCBHC) model.
As a Certified Peer Specialist, you will use your lived experience with mental illness to inspire and guide individuals on their recovery journey. Through sharing your personal story, you will empower clients to identify their own strengths, overcome barriers, and actively participate in community-based resources and activities that align with their goals and interests.
Your role will be pivotal in fostering socialization, self-sufficiency, and the development of natural supports for individuals navigating mental health challenges. By encouraging recovery and skill-building, you will help clients enhance their well-being and engage in activities that promote long-term success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide peer support to clients within the CCBHC model
- Share personal lived experiences to inspire hope and resilience
- Assist clients in overcoming obstacles to participation in community resources
- Encourage active involvement in community activities that align with individual goals

Requirements
Must be Credentialed as a Minnesota Department of Human Services Certified Peer Specialist.
Experience as a Certified Peer Specialist preferred.
Must be 21 years old and have a valid Minnesota Drivers License.
Salary : $18 - $19
