Description
The Mental Health Professional or Clinical Trainee is responsible for providing individual, group and family therapy in a School Based setting in the Chisholm Public Schools. This position is also required to participate in interdisciplinary treatment planning by developing an annual diagnostic assessment and crisis intervention consultation.
The Mental Health Professional or Clinical Trainee provides mental health services to clients of North Homes, Inc. All of his/her activities as an employee of North Homes, Inc. will be performed in an ethical, professional manner and in accord with the policies and procedures of North Homes, Inc. and will be subject to supervision.

- Provides individual, group and family therapy.
- Participates in interdisciplinary treatment planning.
- Develops an annual diagnostic assessment.
- Provides crisis intervention consultation as needed.
- Provides in-service training to staff as appropriate, and in conjunction with training services under the direction of the clinical director. Participates in agency-wide training programs and in-services.
- Documents in the medical record according to requirements of regulatory agencies.

Requirements
A master’s degree in a mental health field from a regionally accredited institution of higher learning.
For Mental Health Professional, current Minnesota licensure in good standing in your discipline by the appropriate Minnesota licensing authority.
A solid grasp of, and commitment to, the ethical principles governing the professional practice of your discipline.
