Job Summary :
The Licensed Alcohol and Drug Counselor (LADC) will be responsible for leading individual and group counseling sessions for clients in the Chemical Health Outpatient Services program. This role involves conducting client intakes and admissions, performing assessments, developing treatment plans, and facilitating discharge and aftercare processes. The LADC will also monitor client progress, complete necessary documentation, and ensure compliance with all program policies, procedures, and governing regulations. Additional responsibilities include managing client funding, ensuring accurate weekly billing, and providing flexibility to assist with emergent or overflow chemical health assessments as needed.
Key Responsibilities :
Client Counseling and Support :
- Lead individual and group counseling sessions for clients dealing with substance use and mental health issues.
- Conduct thorough client assessments to identify treatment needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
- Provide ongoing counseling services, adjusting treatment plans as needed to ensure client progress and address emerging needs.
- Adhere to confidentiality standards and mandatory reporting laws, maintaining ethical boundaries and client safety.
- Coordinate with clients and their families to facilitate effective treatment planning, goal-setting, and aftercare planning.
