RSVP VOLUNTEER COORDINATOR
CATEGORY / LEVEL : PSS / 7, Full-time / 11-month position
BASIC FUNCTION : Coordinate efforts to recruit, train, and recognize volunteers. Assist withmarketing and public relations efforts. Serve as point of contact for allvolunteers.
STARTDATE : ASAP
SALARY AND BENEFITS : Startingsalary of $38,042 to $45,650 based on experience. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS : Bachelor's degree plus two years relevant work experience. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, ability to coordinate multiple projects, strong organizational skills with attention to detail, ability to communicate and interact with adults of various backgrounds, flexible.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS : Experience in the field of Education, Social Services and / or aging populations.

RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES :
- Manage RSVP volunteer opportunities for adults 55 and older.
- Develop volunteer recruitment efforts and materials. Facilitate all recruitment events.
- Coordinate and implement training sessions and materials for volunteers.
- Maintain frequent contact with volunteers, community organizations, and local school personnel in person, via phone, and written correspondence.
- Develop and implement volunteer recognition efforts and events.
- Create and facilitate all volunteer meetings and trainings.
- Produce and maintain marketing materials including program success stories, the RSVP newsletter, and pictures of volunteers.
- Coordinate public relations efforts including news releases, social media posts, and speaking engagements with local community groups and stakeholders.
- Attend appropriate meetings with partner organizations (Volunteer Stations).
- Oversee collection, organization and monitoring of data required for grant and stakeholder reporting.
- Perform other program-related duties as assigned.
Perform in a manner which strengthens the coordination and cooperation of all organizational components of the College, including opportunities for student recruitment.
