What are the responsibilities and job description for the Clinical Adjunct Nursing Faculty - CNA Program position at North Kansas City Hospital?
Summary
SUMMARY : SUMMARY : Works in collaboration with area schools to provide Department of Health and Human Services approved clinical and / or didactic educational experiences for Certified Nursing Assistant students at NKCH. Will additionally be placed in Acute Rehabilitation Unit staffing for a portion of their FTE requirement, especially during times when student cohorts are not available or are in extended breaks.
EXPERIENCE : Minimum of one year of Acute Rehabilitation Nursing experience required. Five years is preferred.
SPECIAL SKILLS : Pre-cepting nursing students. Skilled in communication and meaningful feedback.
OTHER : BLS instructor preferred. Must successfully complete Clinical Faculty Training and school specific orientation and competencies. Must maintain clinical experience in Acute Rehabilitation Nursing. Certification in Rehabilitation Nursing preferred.
LICENSE / CERT : Required : RN (Registered Nurse) State of Missouri, BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association)
EDUCATION : Required : Bachelors - Nursing
