Are you interested in working directly with patients in the hospital? Do you have a great customer service attitude? Are you a good team player?MCC Maple Woods in partnership with NKCH campus will host a 12-week program designed to train and certify participants to start a career as a CNA. The program consists of classroom training immediately followed by clinical instruction. During the 12 week training course, you will learn how to :
- Provide direct patient care, including bed and bath duties
- Work closely with nurses and other medical staff
- Check vital signs
- Transfer patients
- Transport patients

- Acceptance to MCC-MapleWoods. Please contact the MCC-MapleWoods Recruitment team at either get.ahead@mcckc.edu or 816-604-5254. Please make sure you identify that you are a current NKCH employee and the class you are interested in is being held at NKCH.
- Internal candidates : Employed with NKCH for at least 180 days and be in good standing in your department.

- Start date : Tuesday, April 14, 2025
- Length of program : 12 weeks
- Classroom Hours : Monday -Thursday-8 a.m. to 3 : 00 p.m.
- Clinical Hours : Monday and Wednesday-6 : 45am-7 : 15 pm
- After successfully completing the training program and obtaining your CNA certification, you can apply for any open CNA position within the hospital.
