This position is an exempt. Regular salary $28.06- $38.67 per hour.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES :

- Organizes and manages work flow for assigned Director and provides administrative support. Reviews incoming mail, calls and requests, directs as appropriate. Maintains the Director’s calendar and schedules related appointments. Coordinates the department’s travel arrangements, as requested.
- Organizes and manages work flow and provides administrative support for other Quality Improvement department staff as directed by the assigned Director, including, but not limited to, coordinating schedules, and scheduling meetings and appointments.
- Pulls data, and creates and composes reports, memos, graphs, databases and e-mails using a variety of computer resources i.e. MS Office, SANDIS, NGS etc. May perform confidential employee relations type assignments/activities, as required.
- Maintains oversight and tracks various departmental projects, including compiling necessary data for projects and ensures that deadlines are met. Prepares technical documents, i.e. spreadsheets, databases and any other types of complex reports.
- Works independently and within a team on special and ongoing projects. May act as a project leader for special projects, at the request of the Director, which may include, but not limited to planning, coordinating, and organizing activities, as needed.
- Designs, organizes and maintains the department’s recordkeeping system.
- Coordinates, schedules and facilitates agency and interagency meetings, presentations, appointments, etc.
- Provides back-up support for other administrative staff, as needed.
- May provide verbal and/or written translation services, as appropriate ( A pplicable if the employee is assigned into a bilingual position ).

- Must have a high level of customer service and interpersonal skills to handle sensitive and confidential employee issues. Must continually demonstrate poise, tact and diplomacy.
- Must be able to interact and communicate with individuals at all levels of the organization and the community.
- Must have intermediate to expert knowledge of a variety of software applications, MS Office – Word, Excel, Access and PowerPoint and other types of databases i.e. SANDIS and NGS
- Attention to detail in composing, typing and proofreading materials.
- Establish priorities and meet deadlines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment and demonstrate the ability to multi- task and handle multiple competing tasks and projects.
- Bilingual Spanish a plus, but not be required.
