EyeDesigns Optometry is a doctor-led community eyecare practice with the partnership and support of FYidoctors. FYidoctors is an exciting entrepreneurial company that started as a small group of 30 optometrists and has since grown to more than 4,000 employees with more than 400 locations across Canada and the U.S. North Lake Eyecare Optometry, located in the breathtaking Lake Tahoe area, is seeking a Part-time Floating/Fill-in Optometrist to cover vacations for one doctor. This position is ideal for a retired optometrist looking for flexibility and on-call work.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive eye exams and vision assessments
- Cover vacations for one doctor in the Lake Tahoe area
- Work independently during on-call shifts
- Utilize advanced equipment, including Optomap and Visual Fields
- Familiarity with EMR systems
Qualifications:
- Doctor of Optometry degree from an accredited institution
- Current optometry license in California and/or Nevada
- Open to retired Optometrist's.
- Ability to work independently with flexibility
- Tech competency in EMR systems
Schedule:
- Part-time floating schedule; specific days negotiable
- 30-minute exams; patient volume of 12-14 per day
Compensation:
Generous daily compensation.
