Job Goal :
The Manager of Student Recruitment is responsible for developing and implementing an annual student recruitment strategy to meet enrollment goals. This role collaborates closely with school and network leadership to evaluate, identify, and address all aspects of student recruitment and enrollment. Reporting directly to the principal, the ideal candidate will be results-driven, possess strong project management and data tracking skills, and work effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
Qualifications :
- Bachelor's degree required (major in Public Administration, Business Administration, Marketing, Education, or Communications)
- Minimum of 4 years of professional experience in recruitment or related fields
- Marketing skills and proficiency with marketing tools preferred
- Proven track record of achieving exceptional results
- Experience in student recruitment, community engagement, or grassroots organizing (preferred)
- Flexibility to engage in various external activities, with availability for evening and weekend hours as needed
- Reliable transportation
- Exemplary written and verbal communication, organizational, and project management skills
- Strong persuasive public speaking abilities, with experience presenting to diverse stakeholder groups
- Detail-oriented with the ability to produce high-quality work in a dynamic environment
- Proficiency in marketing design software (PowerPoint, Publisher, Illustrator, etc.) preferred
- Understanding of the Chicago Public Schools ecosystem, including the GoCPS enrollment platform
