Position Title: Developmental Preschool / Special Education Teacher
Status: Full-Time
Reports To: Assistant Director of Developmental Preschool
Duties and Responsibilities
Deliver instruction that supports development in key areas: cognitive, adaptive, motor, social-emotional, and communication.
Collaborate with general education teachers, community-based preschool staff, occupational therapists, physical therapists, speech-language pathologists, and school psychologists.
Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) using the Indiana IEP system.
Administer and interpret assessments (e.g., ISPROUT) to inform instruction and monitor student progress.
Analyze student data and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
Monitor and report on students' social-emotional growth and academic development.
Maintain accurate records and prepare regular progress reports.
Required Skills and Attributes

First Aid/CPR certification (required)

Physical Requirements
Frequent bending, kneeling, reaching, and squatting
Must be able to routinely carry, lift, push, or pull materials or equipment
Educational Qualifications
Valid Indiana educator license in Early Childhood Education and/or Special Education
