Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled LMRT (Licensed Medical Radiologic Technologist) to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures in a variety of settings, including Level I and Level II Trauma Centers. This role requires a strong understanding of anatomy, aseptic techniques, and various imaging modalities such as X-Ray, CT, mammography, and sonography. The LMRT will play a crucial role in patient care by ensuring high-quality imaging results while maintaining patient safety and comfort.
Responsibilities
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures including X-Ray, CT scans, mammography, and sonography as per physician orders.
- Ensure adherence to aseptic techniques and safety protocols during all imaging procedures.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to provide accurate diagnoses through effective imaging practices.
- Maintain equipment functionality by performing routine checks and reporting any malfunctions.
- Educate patients about the imaging process and ensure their comfort throughout the procedure.
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation related to imaging procedures.
- Assist in the training of new staff or students as needed.
Skills
- Proficient in operating diagnostic radiology equipment including X-Ray machines and CT scanners.
- Strong knowledge of anatomy to ensure precise imaging results.
- Experience working in a Level I or Level II Trauma Center is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with urgent care settings is a plus.
- Competence in performing mammography and sonography procedures.
- Ability to apply aseptic techniques consistently in all medical practices.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.
