Position Purpose
When providing services as a Study Hall Aide in North Mac High School, individuals can expect to work with a variety of students at all levels of their educational growth. North Mac's Support Staff is an integral part of the school community, not only providing support to our students and teachers but building a positive path for each student in pursuit of their individual educational goals
Essential Job Functions
Follows district, building, and classroom policies, procedures, regulations, and attendance standards
Supervises and monitors students during assigned study hall periods
Utilizes appropriate disciplinary procedures and techniques in accordance with the school site discipline plan
Is aware of and enforces school safety standards at all times
Alerts the teacher to any problem or special information about an individual student
Maintains satisfactory attendance, as defined in District policy and regulations
Additional Duties :
Assist guidance, pupil services staff or building administration, as needed.
Perform any other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications Profile
Must be at least 21 years of age

Ability to collaborate and provide shared leadership
Ability to read, write and speak the English language
Ability to assess and anticipate instructional and supervision tasks needed
Understanding of school, district, and state rules and regulations regarding school operations
