North & Maple  is a fast-paced, exciting environment with many opportunities to learn and grow. We are located at 2387 East Joliet Highway New Lenox, IL. Our ideal candidate is self-driven, ambitious, and engaged.

We’re hiring bartenders for our opening team! We are looking for dedicated bartenders who are invested in welcoming our guests into an incredible and memorable experience. Successful candidates require great communication skills, a pleasant friendly attitude, and a strong passion for hospitality and growth.

The ideal candidate will possess :

  • 2-3 years server / bartender experience in a similar environment
  • Previous experience with restaurant point-of-sale (POS) systems
  • Highly Motivated & Excellent Communication Skills
  • Great Personality
  • BASSET Certified (or able to obtain certification)
  • Serv safe Certified (or able to obtain certification)

Responsibilities

  • Prepare alcohol or non-alcohol beverages
  • Interact with customers, take orders serve food and drinks
  • Assess customers needs and preferences and make recommendations
  • Mix ingredients to prepare cocktails
  • Plan and present bar menu
  • Check customer's identification and confirm it meets legal drinking age
  • Restock and replenish bar inventory and supplies
  • Stay guest focused and nurture an excellent guest experience
  • Comply with all food and beverage regulations

    • Qualifications

  • Proven working experience as a bartender
  • Excellent knowledge of in mixing, garnishing and serving drinks
  • Positive attitude and excellent communication skills
  • Ability to keep the bar organized, stocked and clean

    • Available shifts and compensation : We have available shifts all days of the week. Compensation is $25.00 - $70.00 / hour.
