What are the responsibilities and job description for the Middle School Boys Basketball Coach position at North Marion School District 15?
Position: Middle School Boys Basketball Coach
- Previous basketball coaching experience preferred
- Knowledge, experience and ability to effectively perform the duties of Coach as stated in the District Coaches Handbook/Head Coaching Responsibilities
- Ability to satisfactorily perform all physical requirements of assigned tasks with or without reasonable accommodation
- Ability to communicate effectively with parents, administration, players and staff
- Ability to work with community youth programs
- Hold or ability to acquire a First Aid/CPR card
- Hold or ability to acquire ASEP/NFHS, concussion, and steroid training
- Must complete and follow guidelines for all online safety trainings required by District
- Passage of a fingerprint-based criminal history verification required upon offer of employment
