About this position
Oversees daily operational functions of the Respiratory Therapy departments, at Maple Grove Hospital and Robbinsdale Hospital, and the Pulmonary Function department, at Robbinsdale Hospital, through effective planning, organizing, implementing and evaluating. Compliments corporate strategic initiatives by implementing appropriate business changes. Supports and motivates staff to meet the corporate mission and vision. Facilitates staff professional development. Ensures high quality, cost effective, and service-oriented patient care. Leads by example and insures application of the corporate assets in the workplace. Anticipates market and patient care changes and modifies programming as needed. Grows program volumes where applicable. Complies with standards and requirements of all accrediting, licensing, and regulatory agencies pertaining to Respiratory Care practice. Coordinates and maintains accountability for Respiratory Care student clinical education programs.
Requirements
Education
- Baccalaureate Degree from a JRCRTE/COARC School of Respiratory Therapy or willingness to obtain within 3-4 years of hire required.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical based Respiratory Therapy position.
- Minimum of 2 years of supervisory or direct management experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Demonstrated leadership skills.
- Demonstrated interpersonal, written, and verbal skills.
Licensure/Certification
- Nationally Registered by the National Board for Respiratory Care (RRT)
- Licensed by the State of Minnesota as a Respiratory Therapist (RT or LRT)
- Must be currently certified as a BCLS Provider

Salary Range: L12 ($52.46 - $81.30), based on experience
Shift Differential: Compensation may include shift differential pay depending on the position and shift worked.
STI Bonus Eligible: True 15%
