Painter

Overview
We are seeking a skilled Painter to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various painting techniques and the ability to work on diverse projects, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. As a Painter, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality finishes while ensuring safety and efficiency in all tasks.

Duties

• Prepare surfaces for painting by cleaning, sanding, and priming as necessary.
• Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray equipment.
• Install fixtures and perform minor repairs related to painting tasks.
• Collaborate with other tradespeople such as carpenters and masons to complete projects effectively.
• Ensure proper handling and mixing of paints while adhering to color theory principles.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment, including the proper disposal of materials.
• Follow safety protocols and guidelines to minimize risks during painting operations.

Skills

• Proficiency in fixture installation and construction painting techniques.
• Knowledge of color theory and its application in various projects.
• Experience with masonry work and stucco application is a plus.
• Familiarity with maintenance person tasks and general maintenance skills.
• Competence in concrete finishing and plastering techniques.
• Strong attention to detail with a commitment to delivering high-quality results.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team on larger projects.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
