Middle School Asst. Cheer Coach - NMS

This is considered an extra service position with a stipend and is not considered a full time position. 

South Middle School is seeking an Assistant Cheer Coach.

The position is responsible for coaching student athletes to prepare them for events or competition.  This position motivates student-athletes to develop an appreciation of the sport of cheer. 

Must possess the following:

• Effective coaching techniques and skills;
• A thorough knowledge of the rules, regulations, strategies, and techniques of the sport; and
• The ability to establish & maintain effective working relationships with school administrators, parents, and students.

Must fulfill the coaching requirements according to KHSAA Policy, as applicable.  Experience as a Cheer coach preferred. 

Education and Experience: Any combination equivalent to: high school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate; and passed the Kentucky Paraeducator Assessment OR completion of a minimum of 48 semester hours of study at an institution of higher education OR an associate degree or higher.
