When you are part of our team, you know what connected feels like. #WhatConnectsYou Job Description Supervisory: Delegates authority to Technicians Clinical: Maintains productivity level at department target Evaluates and establishes treatment plan for any patient referred to Occupational Therapy Remains competent in the following areas: Standardized testing, Therapeutic exercise, ADL training, Cognitive skills, Wheelchair transfers Attends and provides continuing education in-servicing Serves as mentor for new employee(s) or volunteers Serves as clinical instructor for OTA students after one year of experience as a clinician Completes documentation according to all regulations and in a timely manner To meet patient care needs you may be required to cover other areas of rehab within the limits and scope of your clinical competencies Budget: Remains within monthly budget when ordering equipment and supplies Charges patients appropriately and in a timely manner for treatment and equipment Other: Must be competent in use of computer for documentation and charging purposes Requirements: Must have an Associate’s Degree from an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program Must hold a current Mississippi License Must be certified in CPR Must demonstrate competency in assessment and treatment of the following areas where applicable: Neonates/Infants, Pediatrics, Adolescents, Adults, and Geriatrics
