Job Description Scheduling: Assist nurse manager in schedule preparation, taking into account all time off requests Communicates with the charge nurses on a daily basis to review for appropriate number of staff based on patient population and skill mix, and assist calling in staff as needed. Time Card Responsibilities: Assists nurse manager in review and appropriate completion. Clerical Assistance: Assist nurse manager in preparing, sending and receiving all Excel feedback forms and coordinates annual performance reviews. Records: Maintains unit(s) staffing data. Records minutes and completes reports for the committee and staff meetings as requested by the nurse manager. Organizes and maintains unit(s) files. Customer Service: Reports patient/family/physician feedback and keeps nurse manager aware. Communication: Communicates effectively with staff regarding schedule concerns and promotes customer relations among staff and other disciplines. Requirements: Prior clerical experience in office practice skills PC experience - Word Perfect Excellent verbal and written communication skills
