North Mississippi Health Services is seeking a Radiology Technologist to work in our radiology department.
About the Job
- This role involves performing high-quality and cost-efficient diagnostic procedures for patients.
- You will provide radiology services in a timely manner while ensuring high quality and cost efficiency.
- Organize workflow to prevent delays.
- Assist physicians and other medical staff during procedures as requested or required.
You will be responsible for providing excellent customer service in an accurate and efficient manner, communicating effectively with patients, family members, physicians, other medical staff, and NMMC staff members.
Key qualifications for this role include:
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Registered or registry eligible by ARRT.
- License as required by State of Mississippi (MRT) for working in MS facilities.
- Possess strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy.
- Keep abreast of changes in Radiology by attending classes and continuing education provided.
- American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification; required.
- Good written and verbal communication; required.
