The ideal candidate will perform high-quality and cost-efficient diagnostic procedures for patients and the department. They will provide radiology services in a timely manner while performing high-quality and cost-efficient diagnostic procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality and cost-efficient diagnostic procedures for patients and the department.
- Provide radiology services in a timely manner.
- Organize workflow to prevent delays.
- Assist physicians and other medical staff during procedures as requested or required.
- Provide excellent customer service in an accurate and efficient manner.
- Communicate effectively with patients, family members, physicians, other medical staff, and NMMC staff members.
- Attend required in-services, annual reviews, and educational programs.
- Stay abreast of changes in radiology.
- Adhere to NMHS/NMMC policies, procedures, guidelines.
- Comply with applicable local, state, federal policies, procedures, guidelines, regulations, laws, statues.
Requirements
- Graduate of an accredited radiologic technology program.
- Registered or registry eligible by ARRT.
- License as required by State of Mississippi (MRT).
- Possess strong knowledge of radiographic anatomy.
- American Heart Association (AHA) CPR certification.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
