* This position requires extensive knowledge of Epic Revenue cycle systems and clinic operations. It is the highest level application specialist and assists in the overall administration of the systems functionality. * Responsible for the configuration and build of Cadence, Prelude, Resolute and other Epic Revenue cycle modules with input from subject matter experts. * Understand the integration of Epic applications and their effects on business process and operations * Stays abreast of functionality improvements in new versions and testing during upgrades; on an ongoing basis, takes advantage of available resources to improve knowledge and understanding of the system. * Tests new releases and applies specialized knowledge and experience to the process to ensure that version upgrades function smoothly. * This position aids in planning for major new modules by assessing the configuration needs and defining processes and tasks, coordinating activities and assign projects to be done. * Trains and mentors new analysts * Provide system configuration and new project development, design implementation, workflow optimization, change management, and issue resolution related to the Clinics applications. * Attend/Leads meetings to discuss team and project related activities, issues, change, communications, and updates. * Achieves and maintains certification status in assigned application(s) and working knowledge of other related applications. * Complete project tasks within timeline as assigned by the IT Manager. * Champion the project, provide support in the ongoing implementations, optimizations, and upgrades. **Requirements:** * 5 years prior experience with both technical support and design of the electronic health record, revenue cycle systems and other healthcare IT systems. Clinical certification/discipline preferred. * Epic Resolute, Cadence, or Prelude certification highly preferred. Must be willing to attend certification training/requirements, if not already certified. * Proven ability to organize and lead clinical system project initiatives. * Effective organizational and time management skills. * Must have strong oral and written communication skills and the ability to think both critically and creatively.
