* **JOB SUMMARY** The Human Resources Business Partner (“HRBP”) at North Mississippi Health Services plays a pivotal role in ensuring the effective functioning of Employee Relations, employee engagement, performance, and retention services. They provide critical guidance to leadership and staff regarding HR policies, corrective action, performance evaluations, engagement action plans, and retention tactics. HRBPs resolve employee concerns, contribute to policy development, lead HR’s role in accreditation, and participate in developing departmental goals and processes. **JOB** **FUNCTIONS** * Counsels and directs leadership and staff on the interpretation of human resource policies to ensure consistency, alignment and clear understanding. * Partners with leaders and provides counsel regarding employee relations, engagement, performance, and retention. * Works with leadership on analyzing and resolving employee complaints/grievances, counseling employees and supervisors, and provides analysis of surveys on exits, onboarding and engagement. * Recommends and provides guidance to leadership regarding the development and training of the employee base. * Collaborates with leaders on operational and data-driven demographic items. * Leads the development and implementation of best practice personnel policies and procedures; co-chairs committee on policies. * Serves as a resouce to leaders in developing department goals, objectives, processes, and systems. * Advises on and at times leads program reviews, audits, investigations, evaluations, and/or pilots as needed. * Provides leadership on technical, reporting and user support for systems involving employee recognition, engagement and evaluation.
