* To provide mammographic images of the highest technical quality with minimal supervision in a timely manner in order to assist physicians in the diagnosis of disease in patients. * The incumbent review x-ray requests, physician orders or patients chart to assure that correct procedures are requested, introduce themselves to patient, document patient history, explains, and answers questions about mammogram procedures. * Ensure diagnostic excellence. * Practice radiation safety measures to prevent injury to patient. * Secure and maintain supplies with care to help control cost and avoid delays. **Requirements:**
* High school or its equivalent, have satisfactorily completed form a Radiologic Technologist training in an approved school. * Be registered by ARRT. * Desirable to have obtained certification in mammography or at least 1 year training or experience specifically in mammography. * This position serves patient population categories of infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.
