**Administrative Support:** * Provides executive-level administrative support to the CQO and Chairman of the Medical Staff * Authors reports and correspondence * Codes and submits invoices and expense reports * Inputs personnel requisitions * Submits requisitions for equipment and supplies * Prepares agendas, gathers data, schedules meetings, and authors minutes of the meetings * Prepares monthly reports from the Quality Standards Committee and the Medical Staff to the NMMC and NMHS Board of Directors * Ensures compliance of the Medical Staff with The Joint Commission Standards and CMS Regulations **Residency Program**: * Manage University of Mississippi Medical Center OB-GYN and Surgery Residency Programs * Ensures agreements are in place and paid * Acquires housing for the Residents * Ensure in coordination of proper completion of resident training such as EMR training * Makes payments to housekeeping personnel **Payroll/Time and Attendance Maintenance**: * Manages bi-weekly payroll for employees in Administration **Physician Agreements:** * Manages physician agreement for Chairman of the Medical Staff, Medical Staff Division Chairman, Credentials Committee members, PLI Medical Director, and Infectious Disease Medical Director * Assures current agreement are in place and payments are made according to the agreement **Medical Staff Bank Account:** * Manages the Medical Staff’s bank account including signatory rights **Medicare Cost Report**: * Maintain and provide records of expenses associated with the UMMC Residency Program, Chairman of the Medical Staff, Division Leaders, and medical Directors of the PLI and Infection Diseases to comply with CMS regulations **DLT and Domain:** * Assign codes to Physicians and providers to allow access to NMMC’s electronic health record **Regulation**: * Adheres to NMHS/NMMC Policies/Procedures/Guidelines * Complies with applicable Local/State/Federal policies/procedures/guideline/regulations/laws/statues * Manages sensitive information with complete discretion and maintenance of confidentiality Job Knowledge: * Associate’s Degree in Business or related field; required * Minimum of 1 year of work experience in the executive or administrative level; required * Strong working knowledge of computers, including software proficiency; required * Maintain strict confidentiality when working with sensitive information and documents; required * Excellent multi-tasking, critical thinking and problem-solving skills; required * Ability to interpret and apply regulations (The Joint Commission and CMS Conditions of Participation); required * Knowledge of the credentialing process (initial appointment, privilege delineation, focused and ongoing monitoring and reappointment) ; required * Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Excellent organizational and communication (written and verbal) skills; required Excellent interpersonal skills; required
