What are the responsibilities and job description for the School Bus Driver Associate position at North Montgomery Community School Corporation?
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES
Safely transport students from designated pick-up spots and back to designated drop-off spots.
Keep order and discipline on the bus.
Perform full pre-trip and post-trip inspection of the vehicle, per CDL guidelines, at the beginning of each driving day and the end of each driving day.
Maintain a clean bus inside and out.
Maintain and turn in all required paperwork in an efficient and timely manner.
Interact with school employees, parents, and the community in a professional manner.
Knowledge of federal, state, and school board rules, regulations, and policies related to driving a school bus.
Attend required safety meetings.
PROFESSIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES
Nurture a positive and respectful relationship with other team members.
Support corporation decisions and direction relative to matters of policy and administrative directives.
Demonstrate ability to deal with sensitive issues in a tactful and professional manner.
Address concerns and offer suggestions in an appropriate and confidential manner.
