Performs duties associated with the operation of the Cath Lab. Reports to the Cath Lab Coordinator.

Specialized or Technical Education Required : Graduate of AMA approved school of Radiologic Technology or equivalentARRT certificationCurrent licensure from the Louisiana State Board of Radiologic TechnologyCPR certified requiredACLS certified preferred3. Manual or Physical Skill Required : Proper body mechanics.4. Physical Effort Required / Physical Demands

Responsibilities :
EXPERIENCE, KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL :
1.Previous Experience Preferred :
Minimum of two years experience as a registered Radiologic Technologist with two years minimum experience in Special Procedures and / or Cardiac Cath preferred.
2.Specialized or Technical Education Required :
Graduate of an accredited program in radiological technology required
Must be licensed by the Louisiana State Radiologic Technology Board of Examiners(LSRCERT) and achieve certification from the American Registry of Radiologic Technology(ARRT) within 90 days of graduation. (Temporary work permit through LSRTBE acceptable;however permanent licensure and certification must be achieved within 90 days ofgraduation.)
CPR certified required
ACLS certified preferred
3.Manual or Physical Skill Required :
Proper body mechanics.
4.Physical Effort Required / Physical Demands
