Job Overview
At North of Atlanta Pain Clinic, we are seeking a medical billing specialist to perform billing responsibilities in a fast-paced office setting. Previous medical billing experience preferred, but willing to train new graduates with determination to succeed. Must possess a strong work ethic, friendly professional demeanor, and be a fast learner. Flexibility, punctuality, dependability, and a team-oriented approach are essential. We are seeking someone who is looking for a long-term commitment, as there is ample opportunity to grow with the practice.
Responsibilities & General Duties
- Review EOBs & input data into the report
- Generate financial reports of the previous day visits
- Generate the patients’ refund list and patients’ balance list
- Keep track of procedure rate
- Complete the refund process into the system
- Generate reports on motor-vehicle accident cases
- Keep track of the denied claims
- Other insurance and billing related job performance
Experience
- 1 year previous experience in medical billing preferred
- Experience working with the Athena system is preferred
- Bilingual in Korean preferred
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (especially Microsoft Excel)
