We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician.

North Ogden Animal Hospital is a busy AAHA accredited hospital with fun outgoing staff, four highly respected doctors, and a focus on the special bond that people have with their pets.

We are seeking a veterinary/medical technician who enjoys working within a close-knit team. Someone who desires to make a difference for good with clients, patients, and coworkers.

As a Veterinary Technician at NOAH, you will:

• Extend the highest level of tailored service to clients when they visit or call the hospital
• Use your knowledge of veterinary medicine by assisting our doctors in diagnosing and treating pets: monitoring anesthesia, performing laboratory tests, monitoring critically ill patients, placing and maintaining IV catheters and assisting with surgeries.
• Use your written and verbal communication skills to communicate with and educate our pet owners regarding health and care related issues.
• Provide recommendations to pet owners regarding the very best possible care for their pets
• Oversee and maintain medical records for accuracy and completeness
• Work in a team and patient centered environment with the common goal of providing excellent care of both our clients and their pets
• Above all, appreciate the love that owners have for their pets

This is a full time position with weekends off.
