POSITION SUMMARY
The Clinic Operations Manager manages and oversees the operations of specific departments within the organization ensuring efficiency, high quality and patient centered focus. These departments are patient services (comprised of Patient Service Representatives, Clinic Schedulers, and New Patient Liaisons) and Clinical Support.
The Clinic Operations Manager is also an active participant, contributor and influencer in overall organizational operations discussions, planning and project management. This role supports the organization's mission, vision, values and strategic initiatives. Develops, implements, and oversees processes to ensure that established policies, goals, and objectives are achieved.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage, oversee, and provide operational direction of the following key Operations departments:
Patient Services (Patient Service Representatives, New Patient Liaisons, Clinic Schedulers)
Clinical Support (Medical Assistants)
Manage and directly supervise roles within the Operations departments
Work in collaboration with Chief Operations Officer to strategize development within these departments including growth, realignment, process changes, staffing and recruitment, etc.
Oversee and manage changes within these departments both department specific and organizationally.
Continually monitors the functioning of these departments, resolves problems, and revises operations as needed.
Monitors budgets and resource allocation of reporting departments
Perform annual evaluations for all direct reporting staff
Oversee and provide direction regarding patient complaints, risk and compliance issues for reporting departments, escalate as needed.
Partner with vendors, community partners, etc. as needed within departmental purview
Collaborate with Medical Director and clinic schedulers to manage appropriate clinic access and facilitate creation of provider schedules, templates, and manage provider time off requests.

Qualifications:
Education: High School diploma required. Bachelors degree or currently pursuing a bachelors degree preferred.
Experience: Years of experience may substitute for some of the higher education requirement. 5 years of supervisor or managerial experience, preferably within a medical clinic setting. Demonstrated success in establishing relationships with staff, providers and leadership. Demonstrated success with planning and implementation of decisions affecting growth and development. Demonstrated success in the selecting and developing, in motivating and directing high performing teams. Demonstrate advanced computer abilities. Demonstrate ability to work with all applications of Microsoft including, Excel, Word, Outlook, Power Point, etc.
Physical Demands:
Normal accessibility and mobility throughout the region required.
Normal overtime/extended work hours.
Work Environment:
Fast-paced community health center setting, potential exposure to infectious diseases, interaction with diverse patient population.
