MEDICAL ASSISTANT INSTRUCTOR (Part-Time) Adult Ed POOL

This POOL has been created to recruit for possible part-time positions based on enrollment. The successful candidate will be informed when a class meets enrollment numbers. North Orange County ROP is a collaborative effort in career technical education by five school districts: Anaheim Union High School District; Brea Olinda Unified School District; Fullerton Joint Union High School District; Los Alamitos Unified School District; and Placentia-Yorba Linda Unified School District. Under the direction of an Instructional Administrator, a Regional Occupational Program (ROP) substitute instructors provide instructional support to secondary school or adult students in the absence of the teacher of record to students enrolled in career technical education courses designed to prepare them for college and career. • Applicant must provide proof of a current and valid license, certification, or degree as a Medical Assistant, Vocational Nurse, or Registered Nurse. • Three (3) years of industry work experience directly related to the Patient Care - Medical Assisting pathway (for Credential eligibility). • Applicant with High School diploma. • Teaching Credential: The successful candidate must qualify for or possess a California Career Technical Education (CTE) or Designated Subjects Teaching Credential: Health Science & Medical Technology. NOCROP will assist you in starting the credentialing process.
