Job Description: The Room Attendant plays a crucial role in maintaining the cleanliness and overall presentation of guest rooms and public areas within the Ashland Hills Hotel. This Part-Time position ensures that all rooms meet the highest standards of cleanliness and comfort, contributing to an exceptional guest experience. The Room Attendant will be responsible for preparing rooms for new guests and ensuring that all amenities are stocked and in good condition. Attention to detail is paramount, as the role involves inspecting rooms for maintenance issues and reporting them promptly. Ultimately, the Room Attendant helps create a welcoming and pleasant environment that encourages guests to return.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, and public areas according to hotel standards.
- Change bed linens, towels, and replenish guest supplies as needed.
- Inspect rooms for maintenance issues and report them to the appropriate department.
- Maintain cleanliness of housekeeping carts and storage areas.
- Assist with laundry services and ensure that all linens are properly cleaned and stored.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or a similar role is preferred.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.
